Our work, and the promise behind every gift

We exist for the animals no one else is coming for — and for the supporters who refuse to look away.

Care team with a rescued animal
Our story

Started by volunteers. Powered by people who care.

Pawhaven began in [YEAR] when a small group of volunteers couldn't ignore the animals being overlooked in their community. From a single foster network, we've grown into a team rescuing thousands of animals every year.

We rescue and rehabilitate animals in crisis, find them loving homes, and work with communities and decision-makers to prevent cruelty before it starts. Replace with your real history & mission.

What we stand for

Three commitments we never compromise

Compassion first

Every decision starts with the animal in front of us and what they need to heal and thrive.

Radical transparency

We publish our finances in full and welcome scrutiny. Your trust is something we earn every day.

Lasting change

Beyond rescue, we tackle the root causes — through education, advocacy and community support.

Template note: the figures below are placeholders for layout. Replace them with your charity's independently audited numbers, and link your real annual report and accounts.
Transparency & accountability

Open books, by principle

We're a registered charity [REGISTERED CHARITY NO. 000000], governed by an independent board of trustees and regulated by the [FUNDRAISING REGULATOR]. Our accounts are independently audited and filed publicly every year.
